Aaron is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern with a background in business and a decade of corporate experience. He specializes in supporting professionals, couples, teens, and individuals through life’s challenges. His approach is humanistic—grounded in empathy, honesty, and a good sense of humor. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys filmmaking, thrifting, lifting weights, and spending time with his wife and family.

An engineer turned counselor, Adam works with trauma, addiction, and life transitions. His analytical mind and empathetic heart help clients find grounded solutions. He's a father of five who loves soccer, music, and outdoor adventures.

Brandy King

LCSW

As our assistant clinical director, Brandy blends her passions for psychology and theater to create meaningful therapeutic experiences, especially for children. With hospital, school, and orphanage experience, she brings creativity and heart to every session. She’s active in aerial arts and loves spending time with family.

Brent Hall

LMFT

With over 20 years of experience, Brent specializes in faith crisis, life transitions, and relationship counseling. He earned his degrees from BYU and San Diego State and leads with a deep commitment to healing and connection. He enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with their six kids.

Brian Allred

CMHC

Brian Allred, CMHC has over 33 years of clinical experience, having helped hundreds of youth and their families work through problems that include; chemical, gaming, and porn addictions, mental health issues, and behavioral problems. Brian also enjoys a variety of sports and recreation activities. His favorite pastime is watching his son play basketball and sing in the choir.

Chase Evenson

CSW

Chase holds a masters degree in social work from the University of Utah and a bachelors in psychology from Utah Valley University. He has experience in crisis work and residential treatment, supporting teens and adults through trauma, anxiety, and faith-related challenges. Chase is especially passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community. His approach is holistic, empathetic, and infused with humor. Outside of work, he enjoys baking, pickleball, and scary movies with loved ones.

Cristell Marcial

LCSW

Cristell supports children and families through trauma, anxiety, and complex emotions. Bilingual and trained in CBT, MI, and DBT, she combines compassion with clinical precision. Originally from Mexico, she brings heart and deep understanding to every session.

Crystal Davis

FNP-C

Crystal M. Davis, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience across labor and delivery, surgical, and infusion care. A summa cum laude graduate of Frontier Nursing University, she blends science with compassion to support lasting wellness. At Coronado Wellness, Crystal provides patient-centered, evidence-based care to individuals and families throughout Utah Valley. Outside the clinic, she finds joy in endurance sports, travel, and time with her husband and two sons.

Daren is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern with a background in behavioral science and over a decade of experience as a quality engineer. He offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space focused on collaboration and personal growth. Daren is especially interested in helping clients through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, hiking, and exploring national parks with his wife and two children.

Desiree Allen

Desiree is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a strong background in Marriage and Family Studies. She is passionate about guiding individuals and families toward growth through compassion, resilience, and evidence-based care. Her warm, nonjudgmental approach creates a safe space where clients feel supported and empowered in their healing journey. Outside the office, Desiree enjoys audiobooks, beach trips, and time with her husband, five children, and daughter-in-law.

Elli Barton

Elli is a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a background in DBT-based residential treatment and grief work. She enjoys supporting children, teens, and adults through client-centered care. Elli brings warmth, creativity, and real-life experience to her work. Outside the clinic, she loves hiking, art, video games, and trying new food with friends and family.

Emma McAdam

Emma is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings a creative, solution-focused approach to helping people find love, purpose, and joy. She has worked in diverse settings—from wilderness therapy to outpatient clinics—and enjoys supporting teens, families, and individuals through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and daughters, exploring the outdoors, and taking on creative projects.

Justin Ward

With degrees in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Clinical Counseling, Justin focuses on CBT, EMDR, and Reality Therapy. He supports individuals facing substance use, anxiety, and faith-related challenges. A classically trained tenor and organist, he finds harmony both in therapy and music.

Kjrsten (KJ) Walters

Kjrstin (KJ) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly two decades of experience helping adolescents, young adults, and parents navigate challenges like ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex family dynamics. She uses an experiential, collaborative approach to empower clients and families to find their own solutions and create meaningful change. Outside of work, she enjoys adventuring outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Korey Larsen

Korey supports individuals and couples navigating addiction, trauma, and communication struggles. He excels with teens and is trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples. A devoted father and golfer, he values meaningful connection in and out of the therapy room.

Laurie Coleman

LCSW

Laurie’s strength-based, solution-focused approach supports clients through grief, anxiety, and chronic medical concerns. She’s worked in multiple systems since 1995 and helps clients rediscover purpose and resilience. Laurie enjoys hiking, gardening, and travel with her family.

Lesa Koger

LCSW

Lesa is a trauma specialist trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, IFS, ACT, and other evidence-based modalities. She works with adults, veterans, first responders, and survivors of chronic illness and childhood trauma. Lesa is deeply committed to helping clients find peace and offers therapy sessions on trails for women seeking healing in nature and movement.

Maki Hohaia

Maki leads our Florida office and specializes in addiction, trauma, and family systems work. With experience in youth mentorship and community treatment, he brings structure and insight. Outside the clinic, Maki surfs, travels, and captures life through videography.

Monica Blume

Monica brings over 30 years of clinical experience and a deeply personal commitment to helping others heal. As our clinical director, she specializes in trauma, adoption, attachment, and complex family issues. Monica is also a published author and former BYU faculty member. She's a skier, runner, and mother of six.

Morgan Hafen

MFT-I

Morgan is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern earning her master’s from Capella University with a background in Psychology from BYU. She integrates trauma-informed, creative, and experiential approaches to support healing in individuals, couples, and families. Morgan values making therapy collaborative, empowering, and uniquely tailored to each client. Outside of sessions, she enjoys hiking, music, rock climbing, and exploring new places.

Naomi Christiansen

LCSW

Naomi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma and disconnection. She’s trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, ACT, DBT, and IFS, and brings deep life experience as an adoptive and former foster parent. Naomi has led teen DBT groups, prison-based recovery programs, and healing groups for trauma survivors. She believes everyone can reconnect with purpose, self, and loved ones. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Olya Reilly

Olya brings lived experience and clinical expertise to her work in addiction recovery, trauma, and family healing. Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, she integrates spirituality into her therapy while working with individuals across life stages. Olya is a mother of five and continues to stay immersed in mental health research.

Rachel Ellingson

LCSW

Rachel is trained in EMDR, ACT, and play therapy. She specializes in trauma, grief, and multicultural work with refugees and immigrants. A gifted musician and performer, Rachel brings creativity and deep care to every client relationship.

Ryan Valentine

MFT-I

Currently completing his Ph.D., Ryan blends mindfulness, ACT, and Gottman Method approaches to help clients heal from anxiety, addiction, and grief. He's a passionate advocate for marriage and family therapy and guides clients toward a balanced, intentional life. Ryan also leads Forest Therapy walks and enjoys exploring national parks.

Sienna Young

MFT-I

After obtaining her undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho, Sienna enrolled in her master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University. Sienna is passionate about helping families and young adults facing depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges, as well as working with children and adolescents through play therapy. In her free time, Sienna enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and rock climbing, and relaxing with a good book or watching Korean dramas with loved ones.

Tammy Gause

Tammy supports clients in navigating relational patterns with systemic and attachment-based approaches. She creates safe space for transformation through empathy, humor, and hope. She loves biking, salsa, and global adventures with her family.

Tammy Ketchum

Tammy specializes in EMDR, ACT, and CBT to support clients dealing with trauma, grief, and adjustment. She’s passionate about helping individuals move forward through pain with resilience and hope. Tammy enjoys baking and family time with her children and grandchildren.
